The Ministry of Happiness works toward reducing crime by cultivating happiness, balance, and social harmony, inspired by the principles of Hindu Criminology. Rooted in the Sanatani values of Dharma (righteousness), Kshatra (protection), and knowledge, the initiative focuses on addressing the psychological and social roots of crime. It advances two concepts coined by Criminologist Snehil Dhall—Post Crime Trauma and Criminal Behaviour Syndrome—to better understand the human impact of criminal acts. Through positive youth development, quality education, rehabilitation support, and Training of Trainers for stakeholders in the Criminal Justice System, the Ministry promotes a culture where knowledge (Shaastra) and protection (Shastra) guide society toward peace. By spreading awareness that happiness and emotional stability can preent crime, the Ministry seeks to build communities where individuals flourish and conflicts are resolved through wisdom, compassion, and collective well-being.

The Ministry of Happiness is founded on the Sanatani ethos of Kshatra (protection), Dharma (righteousness), and knowledge. The Ministry of Happiness is founded on the Sanatani ethos of Kshatra (protection), Dharma (righteousness), and knowledge. The Founder, belonging to the Kshatriya tradition—historically known as protectors and warriors—was divinely guided toward the study of Criminology, dedicating over two decades to researching the intersection of Hindu philosophy and crime prevention. This journey led to the establishment of the Ministry of Happiness, with the core aim of imparting ‘Shastra and Shaastra Gyan’—the wisdom of both knowledge and protection—through a criminological lens, fostering societal harmony, psychological resilience, and a culture where happiness becomes a pathway to reducing crime.Visualise these gatherings as friendly forums where we shall delve into the difficult emotional consequences of crime. It is similar to offering the choice between attending a serene art exhibition or witnessing an exhilarating sports match. Our objective is to ensure that these discussions remain both engaging and understandable. Furthermore, we intend to scrutinise Criminal Behaviour Syndrome through the lens of a theatrical production Think of it as a play with characters who have different ideas about what's right and wrong, sometimes doing unusual things to protect themselves or seek revenge. Our approach is not merely informative but rather parallel to adding varying shades to a situation, enhancing its overall appeal. Our goal isn't just to talk about these topics but to make people feel positive and curious about learning more.
Our aspiration extends beyond mere dialogue; it is to make people feel a sense of optimism and curiosity among participants to learn more. If you'd like to be part of this journey to improve society and participate in our collective endeavour to foster societal betterment, we extend an invitation for collaboration and financial support. Let's have a good time, learn together, and cultivate happiness and security within India and beyond.

My research on Hindu Psychological Warfare, which I describe as Hindu Criminology, began more than two decades ago and was further refined while I was acquiring my degree in Criminology from the United Kingdom. This research explores the psychological and strategic dimensions of crime through the lens of Sanatani philosophy and its time-tested conflict resolution frameworks. One of its primary Sanskrit principles is “Saam, Daam, Dand, Bhed”—a classical strategy that represents dialogue, incentives, discipline, and strategic differentiation in resolving conflicts and regulating human behaviour.
Through collaborations with Vedic research organisations and saints, and through the study of the Bhagavad Gita and other Hindu Vedic literature, I explored the balance of Shastra (protection) and Shaastra (knowledge) in addressing crime. For over 18 years, this work has shaped my approach to crime education and social awareness. It ultimately led to the establishment of the Ministry of Happiness, guided by our core belief that “Being Happy Can Reduce Crime.”
Our aim is to empower individuals with the knowledge of criminal psychology and crime disciplines so they can rise above crime and resolve conflicts with wisdom, resilience, and happiness.
